Wild and untamed, the Tillandsia funckiana winds its way towards the light on the rocks at 1000 – 1700 m above sea level in its home countries Colombia and Venezuela. But the Tillandsia funckiana also has its gentle sides. If it is exposed to sufficient light, the tips of its leaves turn soft pink to fire red and it develops a bright orange flower which is breathtakingly beautiful in the light of your Baiosphere.
