In contrast to their fellows Tillandsia pruinosa and Tillandsia funckiana, the leaves of Tillandsia andreana are arranged in a characteristic ball shape. Each leaf seems to be at its intended place. With its juicy green colour and lipstick-red flower, the Tillandsia from Columbia not only creates great colour accents but also interesting structures in every landscape thanks to its thin leaves.
